Job summary

hengsen holding co.,ltd in Surabaya is seeking an experienced Customs & Compliance Officer to oversee end-to-end bonded zone compliance, including ledger management, import/export declarations, duty drawbacks, internal controls, and audits with DJBC. You will coordinate with Indonesian customs authorities and our China HQ to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities include managing bonded material records, reviewing declarations, applying for Origin Certificates, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and writing English and Chinese; able to prepare customs-declaration documents.
• Able to communicate with China-based HQ and Indonesian authorities.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic bonded ledger for the bonded factory and manage full-process records (imported materials, production consumption, waste, finished goods exports, scrap disposal, and transfer between bonded facilities).
• Review import/export documents and coordinate with local brokers via the DJBC system; apply for Origin Certificates under ASEAN‑FTA and manage origin compliance risks.
• Handle domestic sales of bonded materials, calculate duties and VAT, complete approvals and tax procedures, and dispose of defective bonded scrap materials.
• Monitor updates to Indonesian customs and bonded-zone policies; conduct self-inspections and prepare documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse and Finance to segregate bonded materials and calculate consumption norms; liaise with DJBC, bonded-zone authorities, brokers and forwarders.
• Prepare monthly reports on bonded inventory, import-export activities, domestic sales and compliance risks; report to China HQ in English and Chinese.

We are looking for an experienced Customs & Compliance Officer to join our bonded manufacturing plant in Surabaya. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end bonded zone (Kawasan Berikat) customs compliance, including bonded ledger management, import/export declaration, duty drawback, internal control, and audit support with DJBC (Directorate General of Customs and Excise). The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in a KB‑bonded manufacturing environment and can work effectively with both IDN customs authorities and Chinese HQ teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaintheelectronicbondedledgerforthebondedfactory.Managefull‑processrecordscoveringimportofbondedmaterials,productionconsumption,wastage,finished‑goodsexport,scrapdisposal,materialtransferbetweenbondedfacilities,anddomesticsales,toensureconsistencyamongaccounts,documentsandphysicalinventory.
