As a leading provider of Integrated Industrial Solutions in Indonesia (specializing in industrial tools, electrification, and EV tech), we are seeking a sharp Import Customs Officer to spearhead our daily customs clearance operations based out of our corporate office in the Business District, Central Jakarta.
Handle the end-to-end import customs clearance process from initial document preparation until final cargo release.
Prepare, verify, and check import documentation, including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (B/L) / Air Waybills (AWB), and other permits.
Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth clearance.
Verify import data accuracy, including HS Codes, customs valuation, and applicable duties or taxes.
Monitor shipment statuses daily and proactively resolve any missing documents or clearance issues.
Maintain organized filing systems for all customs records and prepare regular import activity reports.
Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistics, International Business, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or a related role.
Solid understanding of Indonesian import regulations, customs procedures, and clearance flows.
Basic knowledge of HS Code classification, import duties, and local import taxes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
