InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team in Jakarta. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with daily food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean, and supporting mise en place and service times under chefs' guidance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong hygiene practices, basic cooking skills, and the ability to work well with F&B colleagues in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with culinary training a plus.
• Strong hygiene and food safety awareness.
• Ability to work with guest service and F&B teams.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and SOPs.
• Able to work in shifts, stand long hours, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Team player with attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Wash, peel, cut, and assist with basic cooking tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen work area.
• Receive and store ingredients, prepare mise en place.
• Support during service times to ensure timely food delivery.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments as needed.
