Job summary

The Jittlada Royal Thai Cuisine in Indonesia is looking for a dedicated Cook to prepare a variety of Thai dishes according to established recipes and standards. You will maintain a clean, well-organized station and ensure meals are served at the correct temperature and presentation.

You will follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, work with kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth service, monitor stock levels, and participate in menu preparation and training sessions.

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes, menus, and culinary standards

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station and kitchen equipment

Ensuring all food is prepared to the correct temperature, portion size, and presentation standards

Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and maintain health standards

Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely meal preparation

Monitoring stock levels and reporting to the kitchen manager when supplies are required

Receiving and implementing constructive feedback from senior chefs and kitchen management

Assisting in menu preparation and participating in kitchen training sessions

Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all workplace safety regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting

Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary best practices

Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations compliance

Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards

Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with kitchen colleagues

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment

Attention to detail and pride in food presentation and quality

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

A relevant hospitality or culinary qualification would be advantageous
