Job summary

PT Oriental Yuhong Indonesia seeks a seasoned Specifier to build strong relationships with consultants, architects, developers, owners, and contractors. You will promote company products and systems for inclusion in project specifications and monitor opportunities from design through tender stages.

The role requires reading technical drawings and BoQ, plus delivering product recommendations aligned with project needs. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably from Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Specifier, Specification Engineer, or similar position in construction.
• Good understanding of construction materials and project development processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, BoQ, and tender documents.
• Proficiency with construction/design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams.
• Ability to work with targets and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relationships with consultants, architects, developers, owners, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Promote company products and systems to relevant parties for inclusion in project specifications
• Identify, develop, and monitor project opportunities from design, planning, through tender stages
• Review technical drawings, specifications, BoQ, and project documents to identify product specification opportunities
• Provide product/system recommendations aligned with project needs and specifications
• Coordinate with Sales and Technical teams to convert project specifications into sales opportunities and realisation
• Ensure company products are included in technical specifications, BoQ, and tender documents
• Follow up on projects that have entered specifications through tender and implementation stages
• Provide information on project developments, technical requirements, and sales potential to internal teams
• Present products, systems, and technical solutions to consultants, architects, developers, owners, and contractors
