Job summary

Asia Pulp and Paper Group (APP) is seeking an experienced Cogen Operations Supervisor to lead the daily operation of Cogeneration (Cogen) and Boiler systems. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while maintaining high equipment availability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in boiler operations, leadership skills, and a strong grasp of maintenance planning, TPM/6S, and operational reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
• 5+ years in boiler operations and maintenance.
• Experience in Cogen/Boiler operation and maintenance.
• Experience in RDF plant operation/production is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of boiler performance, efficiency, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with TPM, 6R/6S, safety practices, and operational reporting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of Cogen/Boiler systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Monitor boiler parameters, performance, availability, and efficiency.
• Ensure smooth RDF plant operation with high production and operational activities.
• Prepare and review daily operational reports and maintain accurate data records.
• Implement TPM, 6R/6S, and safety practices within the area.
• Coordinate planning, maintenance activities, and manpower allocation.
• Monitor spare parts availability and usage to support reliability.
• Identify issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, standards, and environmental requirements.
• Lead the team to meet operational, safety, and efficiency targets.
