Job summary

China Gezhouba Group Corporation in Bandung, West Java, is seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to ensure technical specifications, QA, and material readiness for our EPC projects.

You will review submittals, conduct design work, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee construction to meet safety and regulatory standards. A Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years EPC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3–5 years of site/QA/QC experience on large construction projects.
• Experience in EPC and PV/power plant projects preferred.
• Knowledge of SNI and international codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE).
• Experience reviewing technical material submittals (MAR, concrete designs, manufacturer certificates).

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at China Gezhouba Group Corporation' in Bandung, West Java. As a full-time Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical specifications, quality assurance, and readiness of construction materials align with our EPC project standards.

This position serves as a critical technical bridge between the Engineering and other departments. Your core responsibilities will be to enforce design integrity and material compliance throughout the supply chain. You accomplish this by reviewing and approving technical material submittals—such as concrete mix designs, steel certificates, and foundation components—against project specifications and applicable international standards. What you'll be doing:

Prepare detailed designs, blueprints, and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit).

Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.

Develop project specifications

Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design, safety, and regulatory standards.

Monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to schedules.

Coordinate with subcontractors and other stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience as a Site Engineer, Material Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, or similar technical role on large-scale construction projects. Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and PV or power plant projects is strongly preferred.

In-depth understanding and ability to apply national construction standards (SNI) and relevant international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE) to civil works and materials.

Proven ability to effectively review and approve technical material submittals (e.g., Material Approval Requests, Concrete Mix Designs, and manufacturer material certificates).

Highly proficient in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures for primary construction materials such as concrete, structural steel, foundations, and earthworks.

Ability to identify technical material risks during the procurement and transportation process.

Able to effectively bridge the communication gap between engineering, procurement, and field teams, providing clear and accurate technical clarifications.

Must hold a valid Professional Competency Certificate (SKK - Sertifikat Kompetensi Kerja) in Construction or Power/Electrical Engineering issued by LPJK, BNSP, or DJK.

Preferably Level 9 (Expert / Ahli Utama) certification holder.

Proven work experience in power plant projects (construction, operation, or maintenance).
