Job summary

PT Mitratama Perkasa in East Kalimantan seeks a Civil Engineer to support reliability, maintenance, modification and improvement of civil and structural assets at our coal operations.

You will perform and review civil/structural works for CPP, OLC and related facilities, conduct site inspections, prepare drawings and calculations, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (S1).
• 4+ years of relevant experience in mining or industrial infra.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations and drainage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Civil 3D is a plus.
• Good QA/QC and HSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Procurement, Project teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations, SNI and company standards.

Job description

Operates coal network infrastructure including coal crushing facilities, Coal Preparation Plant (CPP), and Overland Conveyor (OLC). We are looking for a Civil Engineer to support the reliability, maintenance, modification, and improvement of civil and structural assets at our operations in East Kalimantan.

Key responsibilities

Perform and review civil/structural engineering works for coal handling infrastructure, including CPP, OLC, crushing facilities, stockpile areas, roads, drainage, foundations, buildings, and supporting structures.

Conduct site inspections, condition assessments, and technical evaluations of existing civil and structural assets.

Prepare and/or review engineering drawings, calculations, technical specifications, BOQ/MTO, work scopes, and method statements.

Provide technical recommendations for repair, strengthening, modification, improvement, and preventive maintenance works.

Monitor contractors and ensure construction/maintenance activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and HSE requirements.

Coordinate closely with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Procurement, Project teams, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.

Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable Indonesian regulations, SNI, relevant engineering standards, and company requirements.

About you

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in mining, coal handling facilities, EPC, industrial infrastructure, port facilities, or heavy industry.

Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, earthworks, roads, and drainage systems.

Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Civil 3D, or equivalent engineering software is an advantage.

Good understanding of QA/QC, HSE practices, SNI, and applicable engineering standards.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and field coordination skills.

Willing to work at operational sites in East Kalimantan according to business requirements.

Hands-on experience with coal handling / conveyor / CPP / crushing infrastructure and site-based engineering will be a strong advantage.
