Job summary

Shopee in Jakarta is seeking an Operations Specialist to plan, execute, and monitor city-wide activities, including driver acquisition, engagement strategies, and inventory control to ensure seamless delivery operations.

You will analyze operational data, benchmarks, and local market intelligence to drive cost efficiency and compliance. Collaboration with the Area Lead and regional teams will facilitate rollout of new product initiatives and feature updates across the city.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of operations experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
• Strong skills in supply and demand planning and operations mapping.
• Advanced data processing with Excel/Spreadsheets and the ability to translate insights into professional presentations.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving with stakeholder management.

• Strong functional proficiency in supply and demand planning, control frameworks, and operations mapping
• Advanced data processing capabilities, with the ability to extract insights from Excel/Spreadsheets and translate them into professional presentations or slide decks
• Strong business proficiency in written and verbal English
• Excellent analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills to manage complex operational challenges
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage with driver communities and de-escalate mass conflicts.
