Job summary

PT Dover Chemical is seeking a Chemist to conduct PU binder testing and analysis in the Merak laboratory. You will support R&D activities by performing laboratory experiments, evaluations, and testing in line with established procedures and standards.

The role involves assisting R&D process design and development through trials and technical analyses, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities to boost efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry.
• At least 2 years of experience in ink gravure and PU binder.
• Knowledge of test application.
• Proficient in English writing and listening.
• Proactive attitude and strong computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PU binder testing and analysis in the lab.
• Support R&D by performing lab experiments, evaluations and testing.
• Assist process design and development through trials and technical analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve R&D processes for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the laboratory environment.

Job description

Conduct PU Binder testing and analysis to support product research and development activities in the laboratory.

Support product research and development by conducting laboratory experiments, evaluations, and testing in accordance with established procedures and standards.

Support R&D process design and development through laboratory trials, process evaluations, and technical analysis.

Optimize R&D processes to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, safety, product quality, and competitiveness.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance R&D processes and support sustainable product and process development.

Requirements :

MinBachelor Degree in Chemistry.

At least 2 years of working experience in ink gravure and PU binder.

Have knowledge of test application.

Good in writing & listening in English Language.

Has a positive and can-do attitude.

Excellent in computer literacy, and Ms Office (Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint).

Applicant must be willing to work in Merak - Banten.
