Job summary

PT Dover Chemical is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage sourcing of chemical raw materials and coordinate with R&D, QC/QA, and other departments. The role involves evaluating quotations, ensuring spec compliance, and supporting data-driven purchasing decisions.

The candidate should possess a chemistry or chemical engineering background, strong English, and excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Willingness to travel to the Jakarta office and to Cilegon and overseas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with at least three years of relevant Purchasing/QC experience have an advantage.
• Excellent English written and spoken; strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• New Material Sourcing: identify and source raw materials for projects.
• Coordinate with R&D, Technical, QC/QA to clarify specs and purchasing needs.
• Request, compare, and analyze supplier quotations; prepare price/quality/lead time analyses.
