Job summary

Güntner GmbH in Pasuruan, East Java invites a Chemical Engineer to join our operations. You will collaborate across maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements in chemical handling.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field, 1–2 years experience in metal surface treatment, corrosion analysis, and water treatment, and willingness to be stationed in Pasuruan.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years in metal surface treatment, corrosion analysis and water treatment.
• Fresh graduates with national or international competition achievements are a plus.
• Experience in chemical projects within manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Willing to be placed in Pasuruan, East Java.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with maintenance, product engineering, quality management to resolve quality issues and projects.
• Conduct testing and analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Evaluate and optimize chemical processes to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement and oversee safety and environmental regulations related to chemical handling.
• Manage documentation and compile reports on process and performance optimization.
• Provide technical support and address problems in chemical processes.
• Support Service Department to analyze customer claims and sustainability projects.

• Collaborate with cross-departmental (maintenance, product engineering, quality management etc.) to resolve quality issues, rules and regulations and projects.
• Conduct testing and analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Evaluate and optimize chemical processes to improve production process efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols and environmental regulations (SHE) related to chemical handling.
• Manage documentation and compile reports on process and performance optimization in work instructions and standard references.
• Provide technical support and handle problems in chemical processes.
• Support Service Department to analysis customer claim and support project related sustainability

Qualifications:

• Min. Diploma or Bachelor's degree (D3/S1) in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / or related field.
• Min. 1-2 years of experience in metal surface treatment, corrosion analysis and water treatment
• Fresh graduate who has won national or international competition is big advantage
• Have involved in chemical project in manufacture industry preferably
• Willing to be placed in Pasuruan, East Java
