Job summary

PT SAMINDO TRIMITRA CHEMINDO is seeking an Export Import Staff to manage import purchasing, document control, and coordination with customs, freight forwarders, and suppliers. The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, timely deliveries, and cost analysis to optimize procurement for imported materials.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in import/purchasing roles, and strong negotiation skills, with proficiency in English and ERP/Excel tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 education in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years work experience as Export Import Staff / Import Purchasing.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Understanding of import processes and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure completeness of all import documents and related licenses.
• Coordinate with forwarder, customs, surveyor, and agencies for smooth clearance.
• Ensure goods arrive on time per project and company requirements.
• Prepare reports, cost analysis, and recommendations to improve procurement efficiency.
• Handle end-to-end procurement for imported materials and coordination with foreign suppliers.
