Job summary

PT Cibadak Indah Sari Farm seeks a Chef Production & Research and Development to partner with R&D on new product ideas and to refine menus for Horeca and internal teams.

You will ensure product quality across the production line, train staff, and identify efficiency improvements. Weekend tastings and customer presentations are part of the role, with strong emphasis on food safety and cost-aware menu development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in production, R&D, or culinary innovation.
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality control standards.
• Experience with food costing analysis and menu development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D department to develop new products for internal needs and HORECA customers.

Job description

Chef Production & Research and Development

Collaborate with the R&D department to develop new products for both internal needs and HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering) customers.

Work closely with the Merchandiser & Sales Team to create and refine menu offerings for our customers.

Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the entire production process, ensuring consistency and excellence.

Provide training and guidance to the production team, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.

Participate in weekend product tastings at supermarkets and assist in presenting new products to customers.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Chef in a production, R&D, or culinary innovation role.

Strong understanding of food safety and quality control standards.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.

Experience with food costing analysis and menu development.

Hands-on experience with Rational Oven and other advanced kitchen equipment is a plus.

Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, salad preparation, and roast chicken dishes is highly desirable.

Ability to work weekends for tastings and product presentations.
