Job summary

Geekhunter, on behalf of our client, a leading multinational in food services, facilities management, and integrated workplace solutions, seeks a Catering Operations Manager to oversee daily catering operations on-site in Jakarta.

You will manage and supervise the catering team, ensure food quality, hygiene, and service standards, coordinate with suppliers, and provide regular performance reports. The role requires 3–5 years in catering/ hospitality and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of catering/hospitality operations experience.
• Experience in supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder handling.
• Ownership of operational matters.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation and service standards.
• Hands-on, proactive working attitude.
• Well-groomed, professional with high service standards.
• Willing to work on-site and manage day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily catering operations and ensure food quality, service standards and operational efficiency.
• Supervise catering team: allocate tasks, schedule, and monitor performance.
• Act as primary contact for clients and stakeholders regarding daily operations and service requirements.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, equipment, and costs.
• Address operational issues and customer feedback promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates on performance and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, team productivity and efficiency.
