Job summary

PT Container Maritime Activities in Surabaya is seeking a Shipping Agency Operations specialist to oversee cargo activities before, during, and after port gate. You will coordinate scheduling, prepare discharge/loading reports, and ensure DG manifest accuracy with related parties.

You will also verify invoices, ensure compliance with port regulations, and maintain excellent communication in English with vessel operators and managers. Overtime may be required in a dynamic port environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' working experience in Shipping Agency Operations, preferably 2 years specialist in port formalities experience.
• Diploma Degree/ bachelor’s in Sea Transportation Management or maritime academy.
• English fluency in communication and correspondence.
• Knowledge of local and international port regulations.
• Proficient in systems and computer literacy.
• High integrity and detail orientation.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all activities for cargoes prior, during and after gate in the port.

• Create and send discharge reports after vessel departure and send final CBF before closing CY.
• Create and send loading list 24 hrs before arrival and final list within 6 hrs after closing time.
• Create and send DG Manifest Import and Export and arrange cargo approvals with related parties.
• Check invoices and confirm total activity for payment; crosscheck totals per brand CMA, CNC and ANL from APBS.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities for cargoes prior, during and after gate in the port. This also includes all necessary arrangements, monitoring and coordination prior to the vessel's arrival and after the vessel's departure.

Key responsibilities

Create daily stacking period as per long term schedule from CNC, ANL and 3PF daily. Create monthly daily schedule to terminal for CNC and ANL service.

Create and send discharge reports after vessel has actual departure from previous port.

Send format CBF to vessel operator or ship manager when vessels already open CY and send the final CBF before closing CY.

Create and send loading list 24 hrs. before vessel have actual arrival and final loading list max. 6 hrs. after closing time terminal and uploaded to LLO. Upload file Confirmation loading list and discharge list (SLC and SDC) for all services including the partner vessel on SharePoint.

Create and send DG Manifest Import and Export. Collect and share special cargo approval with a related party all approval documents required (LOI reefer, IMDG, Flexibag). Arrange meeting prior loading / unloading breakbulk cargo with related parties.

Create RBM as per confirmation load and discharge list and compare with TDR terminal. Follow up RFI if any discrepancy related to cargo tally.

Checking invoice proforma stevedoring from terminal and confirm total activity for payment. Crosscheck and confirmation total loading and discharge as per brand CMA, CNC and ANL from APBS.

Participate in the internal training as per group and or agency instruction/requirement.

About you

Minimum 3 years' working experience in Shipping Agency Operations, preferably 2 years specialist in port formalities experience.

Preferably having Diploma Degree/ bachelor's degree in Sea Transportation Management or maritime academy

English Fluency in communication and correspondence

Proficient in system and computer literacy

High integrity

Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with organization skills and ability to solve problems
