Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of the car carrier fleet, including scheduling, routing, and coordination of vehicle deliveries.
• Managing and supervising operational staff, including drivers and logistics coordinators, whilst ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure fleet reliability and safety compliance.
• Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Tracking shipments and providing regular updates to clients on delivery status and vehicle condition.
• Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintaining accurate operational records, including vehicle logs, driver records, and delivery documentation.
• Managing fuel consumption, route optimisation, and other operational metrics to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Responding to and resolving operational issues, delays, and customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Liaising with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Car Carrier Operation Manager to lead our Operation. This is a position that plays a crucial strategic role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our car carrier fleet. As Operasional Car Carrier Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and timely transportation of vehicles whilst maintaining the highest standards of service quality. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients and maintain our competitive position in the road transport industry.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the daily operations of the car carrier fleet, including scheduling, routing, and coordination of vehicle deliveries

Managing and supervising operational staff, including drivers and logistics coordinators, whilst ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure fleet reliability and safety compliance

Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements

Qualifications.

Minimum 5 years of experience in road transport operations or logistics management, with specific experience in car carrier or vehicle transportation

Master’s Degree (S2) in related field is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) and extensive relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian road transport regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple operations simultaneously

Proficiency in using logistics management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards

Valid driving licence and familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety protocols

Experience with route planning, fuel management, and operational cost control
