A-Sonic Logistics Pte Ltd in Batam seeks a proactive Transport Planner to join our logistics operations team. You will plan and coordinate daily collection and delivery schedules, optimise routes and fleet deployment, and ensure timely service to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in Logistics or Supply Chain, experience in transport planning or fleet operations, and familiarity with Transport Management Systems and MS Office.

• Relevant working experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet operations.
• Knowledge of TMS and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Singapore road networks and logistics hubs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate daily collection and delivery schedules to ensure efficient transport operations.
• Optimise delivery routes, vehicle deployment and fleet utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise empty trips.
• Allocate transport jobs based on cargo requirements, vehicle capacity, driver availability and customer delivery schedules.
• Monitor vehicle availability, driver deployment and subcontractor arrangements to ensure sufficient transport resources.
• Coordinate with warehouse, customer service and transport operations teams for smooth daily operations.
• Monitor transport costs and performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements.
• Update and maintain transport schedules, job assignments, and records in the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Handle urgent transport requests, schedule changes, and disruptions promptly.
• Work with Transport Coordinators and the Transport Manager to execute transport plans effectively.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our logistics operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily transportation activities, optimising fleet utilisation, improving delivery efficiency and ensuring timely collection and delivery services to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily collection and delivery schedules to ensure efficient transport operations.

Optimise delivery routes, vehicle deployment and fleet utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise empty trips.

Allocate transport jobs based on cargo requirements, vehicle capacity, driver availability and customer delivery schedules.

Monitor vehicle availability, driver deployment and subcontractor arrangements to ensure sufficient transport resources.

Coordinate closely with warehouse, customer service and transport operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Monitor transport costs, vehicle productivity and operational performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and improvements.

Update and maintain accurate transport schedules, job assignments and records in the Transport Management System (TMS).

Handle urgent transport requests, schedule changes and operational disruptions promptly.

Work closely with Transport Coordinators and the Transport Manager to ensure effective execution of transport plans.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

Diploma or relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation or equivalent.

Relevant working experience in transport planning, logistics or fleet operations.

Good knowledge of transportation scheduling, route planning and fleet management.

Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.

Strong coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Familiarity with Singapore road networks, industrial estates, logistics hubs and major customer delivery locations will be an advantage.

Knowledge of different commercial vehicle types and loading capacities.

Ability to make operational decisions independently within established guidelines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
