Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an Assistant Logistics Manager for our West Jakarta operations. This on-site, full-time role supports daily logistics activities, optimises supply chain processes, and ensures compliance with customs requirements.

You will work with senior management to manage shipments, inventory, and documentation, aiming to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness across bonded and non-bonded warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, import/export, or customs management in bonded and non-bonded warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of customs documentation, import/export regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and overseeing daily logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of materials.
• Assisting in the management of import/export documentation and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with warehouse staff to maintain stock records.
• Supporting planning and scheduling of shipments to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
• Collaborating with customs brokers, freight forwarders and transport providers to facilitate clearance and transport.
• Preparing and maintaining logistics reports, including shipment tracking and performance metrics.
• Identifying opportunities to optimise logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Assisting in resolving logistics-related issues and discrepancies promptly.

About the role

This is a full-time position based on-site that plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient movement and management of goods through our import/export and local operations. As Assistant Logistics Manager, you will work alongside senior management to oversee daily logistics activities, optimise supply chain processes, and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating and overseeing daily logistics operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of materials
• Assisting in the management of import/export documentation and ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and requirements
• Monitoring inventory levels and liaising with warehouse staff to maintain accurate stock records
• Supporting the planning and scheduling of shipments to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements
• Collaborating with customs brokers, freight forwarders and transport providers to facilitate smooth clearance and transportation of goods
• Preparing and maintaining logistics reports, including shipment tracking and performance metrics
• Identifying opportunities to optimise logistics costs and improve operational efficiency
• Assisting in the resolution of logistics-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, import/export, or customs management with proven exposure to both bonded and non-bonded warehouse environments
• Strong understanding of customs documentation, import/export regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Knowledge of Indonesian customs procedures and regulations is highly advantageous
• Fluency in both English and Indonesian is preferred
