Job summary

PISON Group in Bali is seeking a passionate Captain Floor to lead daily restaurant floor operations and supervise the service team. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain service quality, and support efficient restaurant operations.

Key duties include leading FOH staff, coordinating with kitchen, handling guest inquiries, and training team members to uphold company standards and SOPs. Strong English communication is preferred for guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily restaurant floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area at all times.
• Manage seating, reservations, and table turnover to maximise efficiency.
• Assist in inventory monitoring for Front of House supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.

PISON Group is seeking a passionate, service-oriented, and experienced Captain Floor to join our Front of House team in Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the daily floor operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising the service team, and maintaining high standards of service quality while supporting smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the restaurant floor to ensure smooth and efficient service

Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure

Monitor service quality and ensure all team members consistently follow company service standards and SOPs

Coordinate with the kitchen and Front of House team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service

Assist in handling guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution

Support the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in organizing daily floor operations and team assignments

Train, coach, and motivate service staff to maintain high performance and excellent guest service

Monitor staff grooming, attendance, and overall readiness before each shift

Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area at all times

Monitor table turnover, seating arrangements, and reservation flow to maximize operational efficiency

Assist in inventory monitoring for Front of House operational supplies when required

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, hygiene practices, and operational procedures

Support the Front of House team during busy service periods and lead by example

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Captain Floor, Head Waiter/Waitress, Floor Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or F&B industry

Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and Front of House operations

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a service team effectively

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
