Job summary

AEON MALL is seeking a Business Development Supervisor to join our BSD City headquarters. This full-time role focuses on market analysis, identifying commercial opportunities, and coordinating expansion projects with internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with malls, landlords, tenants, and leasing teams, conduct market research, prepare reports and presentations, and support field-based expansion activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or another relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail or tenant expansion, shopping mall business, commercial property, market research, or related business development support.
• Experience supporting several stages of the expansion process, such as site identification, data collection, location assessment, internal approval, handover, and opening preparation.
• Experience coordinating or communicating with malls, landlords, retailers, tenants, property developers, leasing teams, consultants, or other related parties.
• Strong analytical, business-writing, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently while following the direction and approval structure established by the Superior.
• Willing to perform both field-based expansion activities and office-based reporting, documentation, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support basic market research on shopping malls, tenants, retailers, competitors, and commercial properties based on instructions from the Superior.
• Assist in arranging site surveys and collecting data for catchment and competitor analysis.
• Maintain and regularly update the Department’s databases, project tracking lists, reports, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect information and follow up on assigned tasks.
• Assist the Superior in communicating with mall management, landlords, consultants, and other external parties.
• Prepare drafts of approval documents, letters, reports, and PowerPoint presentations based on instructions and information provided by the Superior.
• Arrange meetings, including schedules, invitations, materials, minutes, and follow-up lists.
• Collect and summarize updates on shopping malls, tenants, retailers, competitors, and potential business opportunities for review by the Superior.

About the role
