Job summary

PT. AEON Indonesia is seeking an experienced Merchandiser for its Mens category in Indonesia. You will manage merchandise inventory, sales, gross margin, and sell-thru targets, while planning assortments by item, color and size to follow fashion trends.

The role requires 4+ years in mens fashion merchandising, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English. Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint for reporting and analysis. AEON is expanding in Jabodetabek.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of proven experience as a Merchandiser specializing in Men's Fashion/Apparel
• Strong merchandising acumen with a focus on product development
• Expertise in managing inventory, product allocation, and pricing strategies
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Prior experience in fashion retail, preferably within specialty stores

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan merchandise inventory, sales, gross margin and sell thru objectives for Mens Category
• Create and plan product assortment (item, color, size) for each product category following the trend
• Analyzing sales and gross margin review weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Forecast & analyze by sales trend to place an order based on approved budget
• Research trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and buying patterns
• Create pricing strategy by item that maximizes sales and gross margin
• Propose weekly and monthly promotions to marketing team
• Analyzing sales data and find fast moving and slow moving item
• Monitoring and analyzing brand performance (sales, inventory, & product)
• Working with suppliers to negotiation cost, quantity and delivery
• Collaborate with operation team to maximizes sales and gross margin
