Job summary

INTER ORIENT LOGISTICS, PT in South Jakarta is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and expand the client base, contributing to the company’s growth.

You will identify leads, develop strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, negotiate deals, and collaborate with marketing. The role requires 5+ years in BD or sales, preferably logistics, and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.

About the role

As a Business Development Manager at INTER ORIENT LOGISTICS, PT', you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding the company's client base. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta and will play a crucial role in the organisation's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and pursuing new sales leads and opportunities to grow the business
• Developing and executing effective sales strategies to acquire new clients
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Negotiating and closing sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Collaborating with the marketing team to create targeted marketing campaigns
• Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform business development plans
• Providing regular reports on sales activities and pipeline progress

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry
• Proven track record of successfully generating new business and meeting sales targets
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with CRM software and data analysis tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
