Job summary

Cermati in Balikpapan seeks a driven Merchant Relations Specialist to grow and manage relationships with local merchants, driving program adoption and sales impact.

You will train merchants on product knowledge, dashboards, and basic tax processes, while proposing new programs to boost revenue and market presence. A bachelor’s degree plus relevant fintech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from any major.
• 1–2 years experience in financial company.
• Vast network with local brand/retail merchants preferred.
• SIM A and SIM C licenses with own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with local merchants.
• Train merchants on Indodana product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax process.
• Propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost top-line metrics.
• Engage merchants to support program promotion media communication placement and sales improvement.
• Identify, research and maintain relationships with merchants.
• Analyze market updates and develop sales programs based on demand, trends and competitor activity.
• Research ways to increase product value for clients (missing features, improvements, feedback).
• Create partnerships with brands, online merchants, payment gateways or other partners in region.
• Prepare customized presentations for potential partners.

• Analyzingmarket update, developing sales program based on customer demand, business expansion, trends and competitor activity.
• Researching ways to increase the value of our products for our clients (examples : missing features,
• improvements, client feedback)
• In charge of creating partnerships with brand, online merchant, payment gateway or other partners in regional.
• Have a depth understanding of both our product and the partners' product in order to create a successful partnership.
• Prepare an interesting and accurate customized presentation to be presented to potential partners.

Qualifications

• BachelorDegree from any major
• At least 1-2Year(s) of working experience in financial company.
• Vast network in local brand /retail merchants preferred.
• Strong analytical in sales and performance monitoring.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Holding both a SIM A and C license and owning a personal vehicle.
