Job summary

PT Indodana Multi Finance in Balikpapan is seeking a Business Development Junior Associate (Paylater) to acquire and manage local merchant relationships and train them on product knowledge and dashboards. The role also drives merchant programs to boost top-line growth.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has 1–2 years in a financial company, and possesses a strong local merchant network, analytical skills, and negotiation ability. SIM A/C licenses and a personal vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from any major.
• 1–2 years of experience in a financial company.
• Vast network in local brand/retail merchants preferred.
• Strong analytical skills in sales and performance monitoring.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Holding SIM A and C licenses with a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with local merchants.
• Provide merchant training on Indodana product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax process.
• Propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost company top line metrics.
• Support program promotion, media communication placement and sales improvement with merchants.
• Identify, research and maintain relationships with merchants.
• Analyze market updates and develop sales programs based on customer demand, business expansion, trends and competitor activity.
• Research ways to increase the value of products for clients, including missing features, improvements and client feedback.
• Create partnerships with brands, online merchants, payment gateways or other regional partners.
• Develop depth understanding of both company products and partners' products to create successful partnerships.
• Prepare customized presentations for potential partners.
