Job summary

Cermati Fintech Group is seeking a Merchant Relations Specialist to acquire and manage local merchant partners in Medan. You will train merchants on product knowledge, dashboards, and tax basics, while driving programs that lift top-line metrics.

The role requires a strong network in local brands, good analytical skills in sales, and excellent negotiation and leadership abilities. A SIM A and C license with a personal vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma degree in any field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a financial company.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with local merchants.
• Merchant training on product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax process.

• Deal with merchants to support promotion media communication and sales improvement.
• Identify, research and maintain relationships with merchants.
• Analyze market updates and develop sales programs based on demand and trends.
• Research ways to increase product value based on client feedback and feature requests.
• Prepare partnerships with brands, online merchants, payment gateways or other partners regionally.
• Understand both our product and partners' products to create successful partnerships.
• Prepare customized presentations for potential partners.

• Merchant training on Indodana product knowledge, merchant dashboard, and basic tax process.
• Propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost company top line metrics.
• Dealing with merchants in order to support program promotion media communication placement and sales improvement.
• Identify, research and maintain relationship with merchants.
• Analyzing market update, developing sales program based on customer demand, business expansion, trends and competitor activity.
• Researching ways to increase the value of our products for our clients (examples : missing features, improvements, client feedback)
• In charge of creating partnerships with brand, online merchant, payment gateway or other partners in regional.
• Have a depth understanding of both our product and the partners' product in order to create a successful partnership.
• Prepare an interesting and accurate customized presentation to be presented to potential partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma Degree from any major
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in financial company.
• Vast network in local brand / retail merchants preferred.
• Strong analytical in sales and performance monitoring.
• Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Holding both a SIM A and C license and owning a personal vehicle.
