• New Business Opportunity Development – Identify potential markets and industrial sectors that require general insurance.
• Conduct research and analyze industry trends to support market penetration strategies.
• Develop and execute plans to acquire new customers (corporate & retail).

Business Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement short‑term and long‑term marketing and sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing and underwriting teams to create products that meet market needs.
• Monitor the effectiveness of strategies and conduct evaluations to improve performance.

Strategic Relationship Management

• Establish relationships with brokers, agents, business partners, industry associations, and potential clients.
• Build strategic partnerships (partnerships or bundling programs) to expand distribution channels.

Internal Coordination

• Collaborate with underwriting, product, finance, legal, and compliance teams to support the acquisition process.
• Provide market insights and input for product and service development.

Reporting & Analysis

• Compile prospect reports, sales pipelines, and target achievements.
• Analyze the effectiveness of business programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

Compliance & Regulation

• Ensure that all business development activities comply with OJK regulations and internal company policies.
• Maintain business ethics and confidentiality of company and partner information.

Requirements

• Minimum education is a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management, Economics, Business, Actuarial Science, or Insurance.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in general insurance, especially in business development.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products and the dynamics of the insurance market in Indonesia.
• Communicative, with good networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and highly target‑oriented.
