Job summary

Sun Life Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to drive life insurance product development and market strategy. You will work with Distribution, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver timely product initiatives and ensure regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in life insurance product roles, with a CLI certification, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. This role requires effective stakeholder management and project coordination in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines.
• 5+ years in life insurance; at least 2 years in product development/management/marketing.
• CLI or equivalent life insurance certification.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product initiatives on timeline and prepare marketing materials for new initiatives.
• Propose discussions for new product initiatives including value and marketing aspects.
• Moderate Product Development Governance meetings with related parties.
• Prepare materials for product discussions with Distribution & Marketing teams.
• Support OJK submissions and feedback for products.
• Prepare training slides for Trainer and Operations teams.
• Lead product socialization activities.
• Provide product performance reports after launch.
• Analyze and compare market insurance products.
• Lead website development efforts for the company.

• Ensure all product initiatives are delivered based on product timeline & preparation marketing materials related to new initiatives product;

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry, including at least 2 years of experience in product development, product management, or product marketing.
• Hold a valid Certificate of Life Insurance (CLI) or equivalent insurance certification
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, customer needs, and market dynamics.
• Proven knowledge of insurance product development processes, including product design, pricing considerations, regulatory requirements, and product launch activities.
• Proficient in conducting market research and translating insights into product strategies and business recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to support product innovation and decision-making.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with distribution channels, actuarial, compliance, operations, and marketing teams.
• Familiarity with insurance regulations and product approval processes in Indonesia.
