Job summary

Delonix Group Indonesia is expanding its hospitality footprint across Indonesia. We seek a proactive Business Development professional to identify new hotel locations, evaluate opportunities, and establish partnerships to grow our portfolio.

You will explore property sourcing, feasibility analyses, and collaboration with internal teams to drive expansion. Travel across Indonesia is required, with Mandarin being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related fields.
• 2–4 years in business development, preferably hospitality or real estate.
• Experience in hotel expansion, property acquisition, or leasing.
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Indonesia.

What You'll Do

• Identify and evaluate potential properties, existing hotels, commercial buildings, and other locations suitable for hotel expansion.
• Conduct site surveys and market research to assess location potential, accessibility, surrounding businesses, and market demand.
• Explore potential hotel development, property leasing, acquisition, and conversion opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, hotel operators, developers, brokers, and business partners.
• Conduct preliminary business and commercial feasibility assessments for potential hotel projects.
• Negotiate potential partnerships and commercial arrangements with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal Engineering, Operations, and Management teams to evaluate business opportunities.
• Prepare property evaluation reports, business proposals, market assessments, and presentations.
• Monitor hospitality industry developments, real estate market trends, and emerging business opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Property Management, Marketing, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, preferably within hospitality, hotel development, property, or real estate industries.
• Experience in hotel expansion, property acquisition, commercial leasing, site selection, property sourcing, or business partnerships will be highly valued.
• Good understanding of hospitality business development, commercial properties, or the Indonesian real estate market.
• Experience conducting site surveys, market research, business feasibility assessments, or commercial negotiations.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Mandarin communication skills will be a strong advantage, but are not mandatory.
• Proactive, energetic, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
• Willing to conduct frequent site visits and travel across Indonesia.
