Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Head of Indonesia Operations – Logistics to establish and grow our Indonesia operations, focusing on Batam and surrounding electronics manufacturing ecosystems.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of the Indonesian market, and experience in free trade zones or bonded areas, with a focus on cross-border logistics and local operations management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
• Proven experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment, development, and expansion of the Indonesia operations.
• Coordinate the establishment of the local business structure, logistics qualifications, tax compliance, labor compliance, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build and manage local teams across operations, sales, customer service, and other relevant functions.
• Develop localized compensation structures, management systems, operational procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
• Establish local warehousing and distribution capabilities and coordinate logistics services supporting Batam’s industrial ecosystem.
• Develop new B2B clients within electronics manufacturing and other sectors in Indonesia.
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial parks, government authorities, business associations, manufacturers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee cross-border logistics coordination with China HQ and regional teams.
