Job summary

Kompas Gramedia seeks a Demand Planner based in Surabaya or Jakarta to lead forecasting and demand management for multiple product categories. The role collaborates with sales, marketing and operations to improve forecast accuracy and inventory alignment.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, bring at least 5 years of multinational experience, and have 3+ years in FMCG, electronics, or medical devices with strong data analytics and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Propose demand forecasts at multiple levels of granularity for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning process.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results to ensure high quality demand forecast.
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances to plan and refine the forecast model to reflect updated commercial and marketing assumptions.
• Provide input to the Regional/Global Supply Team (RPH) organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Closely coordinate and communicate commercial, marketing and Finance action plans with supply planning.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

Responsible for forecasting and demand management activities with customers and products all categories to meet and beat forecast accuracy objectives by :

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• College/University; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related fields
• Experienced at least 5 years from Multinational Company
• 3+ Years of experience within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Electronics or Medical Device industry with experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and data analytics.
• Excellent in English, both written and verbal.
• Willing to be placed in Surabaya/Jakarta
