Job summary

LYD Bali Group in Bali, Indonesia seeks a bartender assistant to support the bar team and ensure smooth nightlife operations. You will handle stocking, waste reduction, and customer-facing service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in the field, a background in restaurants/clubs is a plus, and a trustful attitude with strong English communication. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bartender to run the bar.
• Participate in all outlet activities.
• Ensure sufficient back-up spirits.
• Fetch alcohol from storage when needed.
• Change kegs when required.
• Buss tables; clear glasses and bottles.
• Wipe tables and bar tops.
• Restock garnishes and mixes.
• Maintain clean glassware and rags.
• Restock ice as needed.

Job description

Responsible for assisting Bartender to run the bar

Participates in all outlet’s activity

Ensure there is always enough back up spirits

Run to the storage area to get alcohol if any bartender runs out

Change kegs when/if required

Pick up empty glasses and bottles from the tables and outside the bar (called bussing)

Wipe down tables and bar tops

Re-stock garnishes and mixes

Always ensure there is enough clean glassware

Re-stock ice when needed

Maintain clean rags in each bartender’s station

Qualifications:

Proven experience with minimum of 1 years in the same field

Prior background from Restaurant/Club/Night Club is an advantage

Hospitality appearance, honest, initiative, creative and open minded

Valid bartending certification is preferred

Extensive knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the nightlife industry
