Job summary

UM Brunch & Specialty Coffee in Bali is seeking a Barista to join the team. You will prepare espresso-based drinks, operate and maintain bar equipment, and ensure consistent taste and presentation.

You’ll keep the bar area clean and handle transactions with care to deliver a great guest experience. We value previous barista experience (6 months–1 year preferred) and a basic understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.

Qualifications

• Proven or developing barista experience; 6 months to 1 year preferred.
• Basic understanding of espresso extraction and milk steaming.
• Able to work under pressure during busy hours.
• Strong communication and customer-oriented attitude.
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

About you

Previous experience as a barista (6 months-1 year preferred; training provided for the right candidate)

Basic understanding of espresso extraction and milk steaming/texturing

Able to work under pressure during busy hours

Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude

Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

Honest, disciplined, and a good team player

Attention to detail; latte art skills are a plus

Basic English communication skills are an advantage
