Job summary

GOFFEE INDONESIA is seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our busy cafe in Indonesia. You will prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages, including light foods, while delivering friendly customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of barista experience in high-volume settings, strong knowledge of brewing methods, latte art, and cash handling. You will work flexible hours, including weekends, to keep the outlet running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a high-volume cafe or coffee shop.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing, espresso machines, and latte art.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and passion for coffee quality.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic inventory and cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages and light food according to SOP
• Provide friendly and fast customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and giving menu recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including coffee machines, bar, equipment, and dining areas
• Conduct daily stock checks of raw materials and outlet supplies
• Operate coffee machines and supporting equipment safely
• Receive customer payments in cash and non-cash and operate the cash register system
• Work collaboratively in a team to ensure smooth operations
• Report operational issues or customer complaints to supervisor
• Participate in regular training and service quality improvement activities
• Assist with outlet opening and closing preparations, including light inventory and daily sales recap

About the role
