Job summary

NEMA Brunch & Bakery in Pecatu is seeking a skilled Barista to join our brand-new Bakery & Brunch team. You will craft espresso beverages, latte art, smoothies, and fresh juices while maintaining grinder calibration and espresso machine upkeep.

You will deliver warm, proactive service in a fast-paced setting and work closely with kitchen and floor staff to optimize workflows. Fluent English is preferred; full-time shifts include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong barista background with coffee calibration, espresso extraction and latte art.

Key responsibilities

Craft high-quality hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, latte art, smooth smoothies, and fresh juices.

Master grinder calibration and daily espresso machine operation and maintenance.

Provide warm, pro-active, and attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Efficiently multitask between beverage preparation, station setup, and guest interaction.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.

About you

Strong barista background: skilled in coffee calibration, espresso extraction, latte art, and machine maintenance.

Ability to prepare smoothies, fresh juices, and signature cold beverages.

Fluent or good conversational English communication skills.

Clean, organized, highly punctual, responsible, and committed to the role.

Proactive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and willingness to learn.

Ability to work well within a team and collaborate closely with the kitchen and floor staff to optimize workflow.

Understanding of Western service and quality standards.

Based in or living near Pecatu.

Full flexibility to work full-time shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays.
