Pemberi Ubud / PT Kaivalya is seeking a Barista to join our on-site team in Ubud, Bali. You will prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and provide friendly service to guests.

The role requires prior barista experience, knowledge of coffee varieties, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting at a premier beverage-focused venue.

About the role

Pemberi Farm to Table is seeking a talented and passionate Barista to join our team in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site at our location. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee culture, creating exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests. This role is central to our hospitality operations, where your expertise and enthusiasm will directly contribute to creating memorable experiences for our clientele and establishing PT Kaivalya as a premier destination for quality coffee and beverages.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages to the highest quality standards

Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment with precision and care

Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt and courteous service

Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised work station and bar area at all times

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and information about our beverages

Stock and manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and other bar supplies

Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations consistently

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during peak and quiet periods

Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar bar and beverage role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods and espresso techniques

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure

Attention to detail and commitment to consistency in beverage preparation and presentation

Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods whilst working efficiently

Reliable, punctual and organised with a positive attitude

Ability to work as part of a team whilst also taking initiative independently

Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous

Certification from a recognised barista training programme is preferred but not essential

Fluency in English and/or Indonesian is beneficial
