The role emphasizes precise beverage preparation, prompt service, and excellent customer interaction while supporting the cafe team with food and beverage tasks. Weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista in a cafe or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee preparation techniques.
• Proficiency with espresso machines and cafe equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Attention to detail and presentation quality.
• Reliable, punctual; ability to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
• Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, teas, and wellness drinks.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Barista & Cafe Staff to join the PT Ritual Wellness Group team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our vibrant cafe setting, where you will be at the heart of our hospitality operations. As Barista & Cafe Staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining the high standards that define our wellness brand. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, health-conscious environment where quality beverages and exceptional service are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, teas, and wellness drinks with precision and consistency
• Operate and maintain espresso machines and other cafe equipment to professional standards
• Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe workspace, including the bar area and customer seating
• Stock and manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specialty beverages to enhance customer satisfaction
• Process payments and manage the point-of-sale system accurately
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Support the cafe team in food and beverage preparation as required
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols consistently

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a barista or in a cafe or hospitality setting, ideally in a similar wellness-focused environment
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of different coffee varieties
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other cafe equipment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
• Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are advantageous
