Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an HRBP Director to lead and strengthen the Human Resources function for a fast-growing luxury real estate development and investment group in Bali. You will partner with the Founder/CEO to set HR strategy, governance, and people programs that enable rapid growth while ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor law.

The role requires senior HR leadership, hands-on execution, and the ability to design policies, manage employee relations, and drive organizational development

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior HR leadership or equivalent strategic HR roles.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership, founders, or C-level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, employment regulations, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with executive leadership on people strategy and organizational planning.
• Develop HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
• Advise management on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and people-related risks.
• Build and strengthen the HR function to support business expansion.
• Develop and implement HR governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and employee regulations.
• Standardize HR processes and best practices across the organization.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.
• Monitor regulatory updates and provide recommendations to management.
• Identify and mitigate employment-related risks and maintain HR documentation.
• Lead employee relations, disciplinary actions, restructuring initiatives, and organizational change management.
• Handle complex employee cases with practical, compliant HR solutions.
• Support dispute resolution and industrial relations matters when required.
• Review and standardize employment agreements, including PKWT, PKWTT, and other employment documentation.
• Develop appropriate employment frameworks for employees and management-level positions.
• Ensure all employment documentation meets legal and organizational standards.
• Design and implement performance management systems and accountability frameworks.
• Support leadership in establishing KPIs, responsibilities, and organizational structures.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
• Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.
