Job summary

PT Kaluna Indonesia Group (Luna's Doughnuts) is seeking a Staff Baker to execute production processes according to established recipes, SOPs and production targets. You will prepare raw materials, manage mixing, proofing, frying, filling and finishing to ensure donuts meet quality standards while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to GMP and food safety.

The role requires SMA/SMK in Culinary Arts and at least 1 year of baking experience, with the ability to work in shifts and collaborate

Qualifications

• GMP and food safety knowledge required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Understanding of dough-based product production is a plus.
• Capable of meeting production targets and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute production processes in accordance with recipe standards, SOPs, and established production targets.
• Process and prepare raw materials accurately to maintain product quality consistency.
• Control mixing, proofing, frying, filling, and finishing processes to produce high-quality products.
• Ensure product compliance in taste, texture, size, doneness, and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and production facilities according to sanitation and food safety standards.
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize waste and rejected products.
• Ensure storage of raw materials and finished products meets company quality standards.
• Perform basic inspection and maintenance of production equipment to support operational continuity.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure work processes run effectively and efficiently.
• Comply with all company policies regarding operations, workplace safety, and food safety.

About you

Minimum SMA/SMK education in Culinary Arts or equivalent

Minimum 1 year experience as Baker, Donut Baker, Pastry Baker, or related position

Understanding of yeast dough-based product production, particularly Bomboloni or donuts

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), hygiene, and food safety

Meticulous, disciplined, responsible, with high orientation toward product quality

Able to work in teams and independently in a dynamic work environment

Willing to work on shift systems and meet production targets
