Job summary

PT Minda Asean Automotive, based in Karawang, West Java, is seeking an Assistant Manager Business Material for PCB Assembly and electronic parts. You will lead strategic procurement, costing and supplier management for PCBA and related components.

Assistant Manager Purchasing for PCBA & Electronic Parts

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Minda Asean Automotive as an Assistant Manager Business Material for PCB Assembly and Electronic Parts. In this full-time position based in Karawang, West Java, you will be responsible for providing strategic, technical, commercial and operational leadership to the company's PCBA and electronic parts operations.

What you'll be doing

Make price comparison and detail price calculation for the printed circuit boards assembly (PCBA) and other electronic components

Doing the costing of components, VA/VE activity, and commercial calculation for PCBA and electronic parts

Dealing and developing many vendors for electronic parts (such as : PCBA, resistor, capacitor)

Analyze technical data and provide vendor recommendations for new product material

Handling new parts development and APQP planning, especially for PCBA and electronic parts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex material problems

Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory and environmental standards

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in an electrical/electronic parts procurement/purchasing role, with a focus on PCBA and electronics manufacturing

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline

Strong technical knowledge of PCB Assembly and electronic parts

Good knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001, and IATF 19649

Good knowledge in costing

Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively across different functions and levels of the organization

Good in English both written and oral
