Qualifications

• Min 5 years hands-on PCBA manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and process optimization.
• Thorough understanding of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-2221/2222).
• Expertise in failure analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and SPC/Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing.
• DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) methodologies.
• Experience qualifying PCBA vendors and cross-collaborating with hardware design teams.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills for fabrication, assembly, and component issues.
• Ability to manage multiple routing and layout tasks under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 quality systems.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

About the role

PT. SP Manufacturing is seeking 5 PCBA Senior Engineer/Executive to join our Electrical and Electronic Engineering team in Batam Kota Kepulauan Riau. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in our manufacturing operations. As PCBA Senior Engineer/Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability and efficiency. This role is integral to maintaining PT. SP Manufacturing's competitive edge in the electronics manufacturing sector and will involve both technical leadership and operational management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of hands-on experience in PCBA manufacturing and electronics assembly operations.
• Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimization, and yield improvement projects
• thorough understanding of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-2221/2222).
• Expertise in failure analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and Statistical Process Control (SPC, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
• Proficiency in DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) methodologies.
• Experience qualifying PCBA vendors, contract manufacturers (CMs), and cross-collaborating with hardware design teams.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills for resolving fabrication, assembly, and component issues
• Ability to manage multiple routing and layout tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
• Knowledge standards of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive) and ISO 13485 (medical devices)
• Effective verbal and written skills (English Communication) to collaborate with multi-disciplinary mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams
