Job summary

PT Minda Asean Automotive, based in Karawang, West Java, is seeking an Assistant Manager Business Material for PCB Assembly and electronic parts. You will lead strategic procurement, costing and supplier management for PCBA and related components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronics procurement for PCBA and parts
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• Strong PCB assembly and electronic parts knowledge
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and IATF 16949
• Proven costing capability and vendor development experience
• Leadership of high-performing teams
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Good English proficiency (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Make price comparison and calculate costs for PCBA and electronic components
• Costing of components, VA/VE activity, and commercial calculations for PCBA
• Develop and manage multiple vendors for electronic parts
• Analyze technical data and provide vendor recommendations for new materials
• Handle new parts development and APQP planning, especially for PCBA
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve material problems
• Monitor industry trends for innovation and cost savings
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and environmental standards
