Job summary

PT TEMPU REJO, based in Jember, East Java, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day procurement activities for both CAPEX and OPEX. The role focuses on rapid follow-up on purchase requests and strategic sourcing across categories, with a strong emphasis on vendor negotiation and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in procurement supervision, proven leadership, and expertise in cost optimization, SOPs, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience supervising procurement activities or in a supply chain environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing procurement teams and aligning sourcing decisions with business objectives.
• Solid understanding of procurement policies, platforms, and cost drivers.
• Experience in Project Management.

Job description

This role involves day-to-day procurement operations with an emphasis on quick action and response times on purchase request follow-up covering both CAPEX (Capital Expenses) and OPEX (Operation Expenses). You will lead sourcing and supply across a wide range of spending categories including strategic materials, consumables, services, and projects.

Key responsibilities:

Day-to-day operations with an emphasis on quick action and responds times on purchase request follow up covering both CAPEX (Capital Expenses) and OPEX (Operation Expenses)

Sourcing and supply across a wide range of spending categories including strategic materials, consumable, services, and project

Lead tender processes, analytically, vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management

Vendor management – develop, build and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and new potential suppliers, oversee supplier relationship management, and compliance with company policies.

Establish and enforce procurement SOPs, internal controls, and compliance frameworks

Identify cost saving opportunities to enhance profitability of the company

Manage procurement team, review detailed activities and set up Job Matrix among team on balancing workload job

Capability to lead, coach, and develop a procurement team

Regular submitting the report on procurement activities including KPI’s

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years as supervisor managing procurement activities or in a supply chain environment

Demonstrated leadership experience managing procurement teams, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align sourcing decisions, achieve cost optimization and business objectives

Solid understanding of procurement policies, platforms, and business cost drivers

Experience in Project Management

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Fluency in English

Advanced in Microsoft Excel and other office packages
