Job summary

Sunday Ins Co., Ltd. seeks a Motor Claims Supervisor to oversee daily motor claims operations, ensuring timely verification, assessment and settlement in line with company policies and OJK regulations.

You will coach the Claims team, push for process improvements, and negotiate with workshops and vendors to secure cost-effective repairs. We require 5+ years in motor claims, with 2+ years in a supervisory role, plus strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in motor claims, with at least 2 years in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager position.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with solid knowledge of vehicle structures, repair methods, and cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with workshops, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily motor claims operations to ensure verification, assessment and settlement are accurate, timely and compliant with policies and OJK regulations.
• Support the Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the Claims team to achieve optimal performance and service quality.
• Conduct technical claim analysis, identify root causes of delays or discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Negotiate with repair workshops, vendors, suppliers, and assessors to ensure quality repairs at cost-effective rates.
• Monitor claim costs, recovery opportunities, and ensure all claim processes comply with SLAs and internal policies.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance, and Compliance to ensure complete documentation and timely settlement.

• Support the Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the Claims team to achieve optimal performance and maintain service quality standards.
• Conduct technical claim analysis, identify root causes of delays or discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Negotiate with repair workshops, vendors, suppliers, and assessors to ensure quality repairs are delivered at cost-effective rates.
• Monitor claim costs, recovery opportunities, and ensure all claim processes comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), internal policies, and Sunday's customer service standards.
• Coordinate closely with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance, and Compliance departments to ensure complete documentation and timely claim settlement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.
• Professional certification in General Insurance (AAAIK/AAIK) will be an high advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in motor claims, with at least 2 years in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager position.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with solid knowledge of vehicle structures, repair methods, and cost estimation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a small team while driving operational performance improvements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with workshops, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
