This role demands personal cooking when needed and a strong leadership presence in a high-end setting. The ideal candidate will design authentic Italian menus, mentor a local culinary team, and engage guests with stories

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in culinary, F&B, or related area.
• 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with Food & Beverage policies.
• Estimates daily production needs and communicates to kitchen staff daily.
• Assists Executive Chef with kitchen operations and preparation.
• Prepares and cooks foods of all types, for regular or special events.
• Develops and creates new culinary applications and presentations.
• Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.
• Ensures sanitation and food safety standards are met.
