Job summary

You will guide and develop staff, ensure food safety, and collaborate on menu concepts with the Executive Chef to enhance guest experience at the property's outlets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages pastry staff; ensures quality and consistency of pastries.
• Develops, designs, or creates pastry items and decorative displays.
• Maintains sanitation and food handling standards across pastry areas.
• Supports Executive Chef with pastry menu development and cost control.
• Oversees operations of pastry shifts and ensures productivity and teamwork.
• Interacts with guests and coordinates pastry classes or demonstrations as needed.
