Job summary

Shopee Internasional Indonesia is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to lead day-to-day warehouse asset operations and ensure all asset transactions are accurately recorded in the asset management system, with attention to data integrity and traceability.

You will execute asset requests, perform inventory checks, track assets by serial number, coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations, and drive continuous improvements to asset lifecycle processes and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in asset management, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in inventory management, stock monitoring, reconciliation, and control.
• Understanding of asset procurement, registration, allocation, transfer, and disposal lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across departments.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse asset operations and ensure all asset transactions are accurately recorded in the asset management system.
• Execute approved asset requests, including asset receiving, issuance, transfer, return, maintenance, and disposal in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform inventory checks, stock reconciliation, and periodic physical asset audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Track and monitor warehouse assets using serial numbers to ensure accurate asset identification, traceability, and movement history.
• Verify asset conditions by assessing both physical appearance and functional performance, and classify assets as usable, repairable, or damaged.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and other internal teams to support asset procurement, movement, and lifecycle management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset management processes, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in asset management, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Have experience in inventory management, including stock monitoring, reconciliation, and inventory control.
• Good understanding of the asset procurement process, asset registration, allocation, transfer, and disposal lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas) with strong capabilities to handle, analyze, and interpret datasets.
