Job summary

Synnex Metrodata Indonesia is seeking a Presales Engineer (HPE Aruba Networking) in Jakarta to support sales with technical solutions. You will design architectures, deliver presentations, and run workshops to showcase Aruba technologies, while engaging with customers and partners to validate solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in presales or solution engineering, strong Aruba networking knowledge, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Presales or Solution Engineer role, preferably in Enterprise Networking.
• Strong knowledge of HPE Aruba Networking solutions, including Aruba CX Switching, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Networking Central, Aruba Networking Gateways and Aruba ClearPass
• Strong understanding of networking technologies such as LAN, WLAN, Routing & Switching, VLAN, STP, LACP, TCP/IP, and Network Security
• Knowledge of network architecture, wireless design, network management, and enterprise networking solutions
• Experience in conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof-of-Concept (POC)
• Good communication, presentation, analytical, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Design and propose solutions based on HPE Aruba Networking technologies, including Switching, Wireless, Aruba Central, and ClearPass.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to customers and partners.
• Develop solution architectures, network diagrams, technical proposals, and Bill of Quantity (BoQ).
• Support customers during Proof-of-Concept (POC), technical evaluation, and solution validation.
• Conduct technical discovery and provide recommendations based on customer network and security requirements.
• Collaborate with HPE Aruba, partners, vendors, and internal engineering teams
• Support the sales team in RFQ, RFP, tender, and technical proposal activities.
• Provide technical consultation and support throughout the sales process.
• Stay updated with the latest HPE Aruba technologies, networking technologies, and industry trends
