We are looking for an Architectural Drafter to join our design team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and technical documentation. You'll help develop projects from concept through to construction, producing high-quality drawings, creating 3D models and visualisations, contributing to design development, and solving technical challenges along the way.
Rather than simply following instructions, we want someone who enjoys thinking critically, asking questions and contributing ideas that improve both the design and the way we work.
You'll work across multiple architectural and interior design projects, collaborating with designers, consultants and project managers in a supportive and fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural and interior design documentation from concept through to
- construction.
- Produce plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
- Develop accurate 3D models and presentation visuals.
- Assist with design development and technical problem-solving.
- Translate design intent into buildable documentation.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
- Maintain and continually improve company drafting standards.
- Help develop drawing templates, libraries and documentation systems.
- Carry out drawing reviews and quality checks.
- Research materials, products and construction techniques.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
- Support the continual improvement of workflows and design processes.
- Explore and implement new technologies, including AI tools, where they improve
- quality or efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong architectural drafting and detailing skills.
- Good understanding of construction methods and technical detailing.
- Experience producing construction documentation.
- Strong 3D modelling skills.
- Good understanding of interior architecture and detailing.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a remote team.
- Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects
- simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape or D5, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
