Job summary

Cascade International Property Pty Ltd is seeking a Licensed Architect – MEP & Visualisation Specialist to join our Bali office on a full-time basis. You will lead integrated MEP design, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver compelling visualisations that communicate complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a professional architectural licence or registration, 7+ years of experience, and advanced proficiency with MEP tools and 3D rendering software.

Qualifications

• Professional architectural licence or registration in Indonesia or equivalent international qualification.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design with demonstrated MEP integration.
• Advanced proficiency with MEP design software (Revit MEP, HAP, WAPLAC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate integrated MEP systems design, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with structural, civil, and architectural teams to optimise building systems and resolve technical conflicts during design and construction phases.
• Create high-quality 3D architectural visualisations, renderings, and animations to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
• Utilise advanced visualisation software and VR tools to present design concepts.

The role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Licensed Architect — MEP & Visualisation Specialist to join our team at our Bali office. This is a full-time position that sits at the intersection of technical expertise and creative visualisation, offering a unique opportunity to shape how buildings function and are perceived. As a Licensed Architect with specialisation in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our projects, ensuring that technical building systems are seamlessly integrated with architectural vision. You will also leverage advanced visualisation techniques to communicate design concepts compellingly to clients, stakeholders, and project teams. Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate integrated MEP systems design, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standards
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Collaborate with structural, civil, and architectural teams to optimise building systems and resolve technical conflicts during the design and construction phases
• Create high-quality 3D architectural visualisations, renderings, and animations to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders
• Utilise advanced visualisation software and virtual reality tools to present design concepts and explore spatial relationships
• Conduct energy modelling and sustainability assessments to support environmentally responsible design outcomes
• Oversee MEP consultant relationships and coordinate their deliverables with overall project objectives
• Participate in design reviews and value engineering sessions to optimise technical and aesthetic outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design team members
• Manage project documentation and maintain detailed records of design decisions and technical specifications

What we're looking for

• Professional architectural licence or registration in Indonesia or equivalent international qualification
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design with a demonstrated specialisation in MEP systems integration
• Advanced proficiency with MEP design software, such as Revit MEP, HAP, WAPLAC, or equivalent
• Expert-level skills in 3D visualisation and rendering software, including SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in Southeast Asian contexts
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary architectural projects from concept through to completion
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows and coordination
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment whilst managing autonomous responsibility for technical deliverables
• Preferred: Experience working on hospitality, residential, or commercial projects in tropical or Southeast Asian climates
• Preferred: Familiarity with virtual reality or immersive visualisation technologies
